I am sorry for being MIA. I think after the surgeries I may have fallen off of the blogging wagon. Not that I was on it long to begin with but it is something I truly enjoy so here we go! I recreated a look of a manicure I had seen. I originally used this for the holiday season, but it would make a great winter manicure. I first used an OPI Top Coat, which obviously is clear and makes a nice starter for the rich red. Then I used Revlon's All Fired Up on the nail. It was definitely a bright red and this picture doesn't do it justice! That took about two coats. At first it came across as a little pink but once it dried it was perfect. I swear every girl needs this color for the nails. Very feminine and chic.
Next, since my nails were shorter I did a thin black tip in Chanel's Black Satin. There are plenty of black polishes out there that will do the job, but I personally think Black Satin has a texture that almost looks like patent leather. Amazing!
Now for the sparkle! I used Orly's Tiara in between the red and the black. The brush for this polish is thin and adds a very precise line. Perfect for this look!
Here is the tree from my bedroom. Sparkly shoes, blue and clear lights along with white sparkly holiday words definitely put me in the holiday spirit. I hope you all had a great holiday no matter what you celebrate. Keep warm as the weather gets colder.
