I'm back...just as promised and I have received my Little Black Bag. When the box arrived it looked a little something like this. (I had already opened it at this point but hey...adorable box. Take note other retailers!) Anyways ...I introduce to you the Little Black Bag Box. Say that 20 times fast!
So when I opened the box, every item was wrapped with black tissue paper with a darling company sticker keeping it closed. I meant to take pictures of that but I guess that slipped my mind at the time. But anyways, hear are the items unwrapped:
Sorry about the sideways image! |
1) DEO's headphones with metallic hot pink covers.
So I admit I haven't used any of the items yet, but in the coming weeks they will all be of great use to me! But I love that you can buy other headphone covers or get them on LittleBlackBag.com in a trade (if you're searching for them). For now the hot pink is perfect for me, but accessorizing is something to be taken seriously so I will probably look into more covers in the future. Still though, not a bad deal for $50 headphones and covers. This subscription pays for itself right there! I definitely can't wait to try out those bad boys at the gym. Maybe I'll coordinate the rest of my work out attire!
2) BCBGeneration Edith Shoulder Bag (But it does remind me more of the Mini Messenger bag)
I absolutely adore this bag. I love the concept of a smaller bag with these belt loops all over the strap. It definitely gives "little black bag" a new meaning! I typically tend to go for large totes that I can fit my whole life into but after ending up with this in my bag I knew I was ready to step outside of my comfort zone. I am starting a new job up soon and I can't wait to match this with one of my outfits. It suddenly makes me feel very Detective Kate Beckett meets a Gossip Girl (Think Serena Van Der Woodsen...casual. Maybe Vanessa...). Moving on...I think it would look stunning with a pair of skinny jeans, a bright blazer with a black flowing tank beneath it. There are so many possibilities with this square bag.
The back is rather simple, but the engraved logo is a great touch. I really like that this bag can be versatile. Use it from day to night as a great accessory.
3) BCBGeneration Drop Hoop Earrings with blue stone.
So the picture both on the website, any other website and in this picture is a little deceiving. I really thought these were going to be a royal blue stone that would scream Kate Middleton. They're actually more of a greenish blue. Still though, these are so cute! I absolutely love them and I can't wait to pair them with the items in my closet. They can be used with a formal dress ( little black dress perhaps?) or with a casual outfit. So many possibilities!
THE VERDICT::::
I absolutely love this service. Seeing those who run the company interacting with customers on Facebook and Twitter makes it obvious how much they care about the service they provide to their customers. I love the trading aspect. I offered up a scarf I believe to get the earrings. So glad I ended up with them! I will definitely be investing in another month of this service because I like the value. Fifty dollars and you get great additions for the sake of fashion. Again...I was not paid for this review but I do encourage you all to visit www.littleblackbag.com and sign up. This subscription service gets two thumbs up from this girl!
So hope you all enjoy my review. I tried not to go into the steps before the arrival because I did the review in two parts. If you haven't read part one, please see this link >>> Little Black Bag REVIEW Pt 1 . If you have any questions you can ask below or tweet me at www.twitter.com/lialauren87
Hope you'll open your little black bag. Cute earrings and pink headphones, I hope you have a great weekend.
