No more Holiday cups! I knew it was coming but it never quite sinks in until they hand you that white cup! The employee at the window must have been surprised by my look of sadness when they handed the cup over. It's snowing outside here so it seemed like the holiday cups would have made the Starbucks trip even better...that being said my drink was still great. Thanks Starbucks! PS....I wish Starbucks had green cups with the white font. Oh well!
I picked up some great items at Target...I can't wait to test those out and blog about them. Still trying to decide if I want to start a YouTube Channel. I can't see myself doing tutorials so maybe just reviews, Outfit of the Days and hauls. I'm not too sure yet. Feedback is appreciated!
I know you can't get a good look at the nails in this picture but in case anyone is curious I am wearing China Glaze's White on White with Tinsel by Confetti over top. Tinsel is definitely sheer and very light on the glitter so it definitely needs to be put over another color. If you're like me and love glittery polish like OPI's Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection, you might be let down. But it's pretty over white polish.
Hope you're all enjoying this Monday! It's a very big football day so hopefully your teams do well. I have to show support for my Buckeyes! So go Buckeyes and go Big Ten!

Chic Red Nails
Hey All!
I am sorry for being MIA. I think after the surgeries I may have fallen off of the blogging wagon. Not that I was on it long to begin with but it is something I truly enjoy so here we go! I recreated a look of a manicure I had seen. I originally used this for the holiday season, but it would make a great winter manicure. I first used an OPI Top Coat, which obviously is clear and makes a nice starter for the rich red. Then I used Revlon's All Fired Up on the nail. It was definitely a bright red and this picture doesn't do it justice! That took about two coats. At first it came across as a little pink but once it dried it was perfect. I swear every girl needs this color for the nails. Very feminine and chic.
Next, since my nails were shorter I did a thin black tip in Chanel's Black Satin. There are plenty of black polishes out there that will do the job, but I personally think Black Satin has a texture that almost looks like patent leather. Amazing!
Now for the sparkle! I used Orly's Tiara in between the red and the black. The brush for this polish is thin and adds a very precise line. Perfect for this look!

Here is the tree from my bedroom. Sparkly shoes, blue and clear lights along with white sparkly holiday words definitely put me in the holiday spirit. I hope you all had a great holiday no matter what you celebrate. Keep warm as the weather gets colder.

Sorry I have been MIA!!!
Hello blog world!
I want to apologize for being absent for so long. I had surgery on July 13th and again yesterday morning. Needless to say I expected to be blogging while laid up and unfortunately that didn't happen. I am hoping that I am up to writing more this time around. If there are not any major blogs I want to at least post tidbits like surveys, thoughts and such. I really want to do a blog post on my current nail polish collection. I have also thought about doing a blog on being fashionable on a budget, as well as dorm room advice for those of you who are attending college for the first time and making that big transition ! Anyways I hope to feel much more up to blogging. Oh and I also have a small makeup hall to blog about !

Review: VS Luminous Face and Cheek Highlighter
Twice a year, I find myself literally rushing to Victoria Secret for their Semi-Annual Sale. This year I was so excited that I found several goodies since during the past few sales I have found very little. Not only did I find their typical items (bras, pajama pieces...etc) I also found several sprays and makeup items. One of the items I purchased was the VS Luminous Face and Cheek highlighter. Upon finding the item, I was so excited because I had heard that they carried a good highlighter. I figured that maybe they were doing away with the line or just the product since it was on sale and knew I needed to snatch it up. The shade I purchased was Sea Shells. The packaging was nice as it came in a decorated teal box with animal print. Unfortunately the excitement of this product stops at the packaging. I was unable to find a good enough swatch because the product hardly shows up at all. I had a tough time finding it at all and once I caked it on my hand, it quickly faded with the slightest touch. Suddenly I realize why it was so cheap during the sale. They wanted to get rid of it! Also, the smell of the product really bothered me. I am used to the smell of lip sticks or other cosmetics that have a very slight smell that isn't anything special. Unfortunately this smelled almost like clay to me. Not very attractive! I hope maybe VS will come out with a different highlighter that will work a lot better and hopefully be pigmented in the right way. I wanted to love this product and I was so excited when I found it. What a let down!

Summer bracelets !
So I used to never wear bracelets. For some reason I hated feeling like something was restricting my hands. Silly right? I guess I used to hate the excess. Now, I am completely head over heels in love with jewelry and any accessory I can get my hands on. The Trent for the summer seasons seems to be stacking bracelets. It has become a treat to discover new bracelets. I have noticed a lot of Chan Luu bracelets around town and I can't resist the style. They can be so trendy while offering a natural and Bohemian look. The way they wrap around and the beading details the bracelet is just stunning.
In the picture I posted I have my open link silver bracelet, an off-white thin metal bracelet. (around 1cm) and my black Pandora bracelet. They are definitely my go to's right now. I love to add costume jewelry to them to customize them to my outfit. It is definitely interesting to see what is out there for you to purchase ! Some of my favorite places to get costume jewelry bracelet are Charming Charlies, Forever 21, Francesca's Collections and White House Black Market! Post below if you have a boutique to get your jewelry or if you have your favorite wrist accessory!

Quick update!
Sorry I have been so MIA...believe it or not I have not abandoned blogging so early on into it! I have been pretty busy but starting this week I'll have a lot more up. I have some great reviews, thoughts and even some regrets to blog about. Regrets of course meaning products I regret ever purchasing! Anywho...thanks to those who read and keep an eye out for some new posts :)

MAC'S Creme De Nude - My new obsession!
So I bought Creme De Nude a few months back and I have to say it is by far my favorite lipstick at the moment. It has a milky texture that allows it to glide on easily. I never thought I would be a nude lipstick fan, but after trying this one I can't imagine not using it. Before I put lipstick on I prefer to use a light moisturizer(or balm) to serve as a base. Creme de Nude looks really alone, but I find almost any gloss looks great on top of it. My current favorite is Creme De Nude with MAC'S Docile or Chandelier by NYX. Both look stunning! If you're a fan of the Kardashian sisters like I am, you'll notice that they tend to be big on nude glossy lips. I find that Creme de Nude definitely has that effect to it!
